Homeroom 104 Mr. Sawhill Mr. Sawhill, better known as Pop is the homeroom teacher of Room 104. Mr. Sawhill graduated from Muskingham College where he earned a B.A. degree. Mr. Sawhill teaches algebra and plane geometry. He can easily be identified by the ruler which he always carries with him. Mr. Sawhill claims his to be the best jun- ior horneroorng ithese are what he terms his famous people : Jim Tudas - vice-president of the Biology Club, Gerrie Isaacs - secretary of Biology Club and also a cheerleader, and representatives in Student Council are Frances Yuschak and Richard Bres. Mr. Speziale attended the Uni- versity of Pittsburgh where he received his B. A. degree. He did graduate work at the uni- versities of Pittsburgh and Duquesne. Mr. Speziale is faculty manager of the Athletic Association and sponsor of the Junior Class. He teaches economics, problems of democracy, and political science. The Student Council representatives of Room 103 are Mary Ann Tavoletti and Step- hen Zaletskig Patty Stasiowski and Marlane Schonder are majorettes, and Tony Florence was a member of the Allegheny County Cho- rus. Officers of other organizations are: Mary Ann Tavoletti - vice-president of Progressive Tri-I-Ii-Y, Ed Bunio - president of Original Hi-Y, Tony Florence - president of Biology Club, and Stephen Zaletski - vice-president of the Junior Class.

Miss Cochran teaches the commercial sub- jects and sponsors the Progressive Tri-Hi-Y. The officers of organizations in Room 204 are: Sandy Armani - Secretary of Progressive Tri-Hi-Y, Marilyn Barbish - treasurer of the Junior Class, Janet Boyda - Chaplain of Progressive Tri-Hi-Y, Carol Gerrero - treas- urer of Progressive Tri-Hi-Y, Sophie Hutchko - president of Future Business Leaders of America, Mary Jane Jones - secretary of Fu- ture Teachers of America and Future En- gineers of America.
