Us Dell Redding President Willis Lyon Vice. Pres. CAM 0 1954 Dreaming back over through the years that the class of l954 has been a part of Carmel High School, many of its outstanding activities come to mind. The class came to Carmel High in 1949 with the distinction of being the smallest class ever enrolled herein. The classes' eighth grade year came to a close with a successful sale of magazine sub- scriptions to fill their class treasury. The present seniors can still boast of the best Big Game bonfire ever . In its Freshman year the class gave an assembly fbased on the showboat themej for the rest of the school. The class began to show itself in sports and other activities this year. As sophomores, the class started off with the Sadie I-Iawkin's Dance, which is always one of the most popular dances at C, H, S, Again the class put on a good assembly, and at the end of the year it managed the auction booth at the Girls' League Scholarship Carni- val. Upperclassmen at last! The class, as Juniors did justice to their ability to work to- gether when they took over the responsibility of the soft drink concessions in order to finance the annual Junior-Senior Prom. Now the class of '54 is graduating! The seniors have topped off four years of success with the Senior Play, Clarence and the Senior Prom, which was held later in the year. In farewell the class wishes to extend its thanks to the faculty, and expecially to Miss Larson and Mr. Farr for their untiring guidance through the years. Allen Knight President Francis Schutz Vice.
