In non- league play, the Scots sparkled with a 7-1 record. Although he missed part of the league season, senior forward Bill Jay was on the all-SPAL first team, and Dave Brodhead, who stood out defensively at his guard position, was second team. Other stars were Gordy Mar- tin, Jim McKendrick, Doug Kuehn, and Steve O ' Laughlin. FROSH-SOPH The frosh-soph squad suffered through a mediocre season, winning only two games. Bob Suddjian was one of the team ' s bright spots, as he made the second all-league team. Steve Caria, Suddjian ' s running mate at forward, helped spearhead the Carlmont offense.
