RECREATION The Recreation Board ended this year with the establishment of many worthwhile and enjoyable activities to their credit. These activities were co-ordinated by Commissioners Ron Wheeler and Dale Thomas under the guidanceof Mr. Sergie Gregoriev, Faculty Advisor. Students enjoyed many noon movies this year. These movies were on many subjects and included: Cartoons, Travelogues, and Sports Features, appealing to the many student interests. Another successful venture of the board was the noon sports pro- gram. Teams chosen from Admin c losses competed in volleyball and baseball. Ping Pong equipment was also purchased for the use of Carlmont students. The Recreation Board also uncovered talented Carlmont students by sponsoring talent shows. The final winner received a plaque. Perhaps the most successful accomplishment of the board was the establishment of the Scotty, a circular published by the board each week to keep students informed on noon recreation.
