An emotional experience l'll never forget. Anytown, a program set up for high school students to learn more about themselves and others consists of seminars, exercises, and activities, to cope with problems such as prejudice, selfishness, and being opinionated about others. Anytown offers six summer sessions that take place at three different locations Tuscon, Skyway camp south of Prescott, and Mingus Mountain north of Prescott. Students are selected to attend Anytown at the end of the school year. Popularity or grades, does not affect the chance of those who apply. Screen tests of applicants are done by Mr. Madrid who chooses the students he feels it will benefit the most. Three hundred students from all over the state attend the camp. Carl Hayden along with other schools are only allowed to send 6 to 10 students. The cost is 170 dollars for one week which includes room and board, Anytown-not just anytown but a one week tutored society that could help you answer your own questions. as .Q Y N .. . 13
