Mr. King, Science Department, is only one of the many teachers who takes time to give extra help to students after class. Teaching is a full-time iob. lt goes on after the last bell rings, many times into night with grading papers, preparing lectures, giving extra help after school, reading of assignments, preparing exams, and making out report cards. A teacher is many things, instructor, psychologist, secretary, lecturer, counselor, diplomat, and traffic cop-one could go on indefinit ely. We, the students, extend a very sincere thank you to our excellent staff of teachers for their understanding, help time, and effort on our behalf. Mr. Bailey, English Department, busily gives individual instruction to a stu- dent. Our maintenance per- sonnel are responsible for the fine job done in :keeping clean one of The most modern and best-looking cam- puses in Phoenix. Because of the efficiency of this staff, we are welcomed each morning by neat and orderly classrooms. Doing a capable and efficient job as head of the maintenance department is Mr. Eddie Poole. Cafeteria Personnel nl I 3 rf' We most appreciate our cafeteria personnel at lunch, when we can satisfy our appetites with the large variety of food prepared for us. Not only do these people supply us with good food at lunchg but they have hot choco- late and doughnuts ready on the colder mornings and a stand where we can buy afternoon snacks.
