The 1981 Student Council pledges their loyalty to their school. Guest speaker, Brother Patrick Ellis of La Salle, informs the students of the importance of leadership. Student Council Pledge I pledge my loyalty and service to Cardinal Dougherty High School. I desire to conduct myself at all times in accordance with its Catholic ideals and principles. I promise that I will fulfill my duties as a student officer, faith- fully and conscientiously. At no time will I forget the dignity which my fellow students have and the respect which they deserve. I will do all that I can to support school activities. I pray sin- cerely that God will be pleased with our school and that He will shower it with His choicest blessings. Miss Recupido, moderator of the girls' Student Council, reflects on the pur- pose ofthe day. Carol Sweeney accepts her ribbon on behalf of the junior class.
