Following an active marching season, the band began a successful concert season. ln addition to a pep band at basketball games, a newly organized stage band has been performing, adding a new angle to the games. The newly-formed stage band performs at basketball games and band concerts. The purpose of F.B.L.A. is to develop competent leadership, and create interest in business courses. A member must be enrolled in a business course. The group has been active in regional and state conferences, Their activities include spelling competi- tion, parliamentary procedures, Mr. FBLA, and many others. Mrs. Lingle and Mr. Darnell have gener- ously offered their time and experience to the Future of Business Leaders of America as the sponsors. The Conservation Club is concerned with the beautification of the school grounds and with promoting the awareness of our environment. The club has been involved with various proiects this year. Its members helped in the formation of a nature trail at Snider Hill and in the organization ofa Junior Soil and Water Conservation Board.
