The Future Business Leaders of America are sponsored by Mrs. Lingle and Mr. Darnell. Their purpose is to en- courage business leaders and promote business-like conduct. They participate in meetings with other schools, money-making projects, and the state FBLA Conyention. This organization is open to anyone taking business courses or who has previously taken them. Their officers for this year are Gayle Fozard - president, Connie Reinhardt - vice-president, Diane Cherry - secretary, and Becky Robinson - treasurer. Assisting in the library by checking out books and magazines and generally assisting the librarian are the main duties and purposes of the East Library Club. Their sponsor is the librarian at East, Mrs. Bertha Vaughn. Some of their activities during the year were a candy sale, adoption of grandparents at Styrest Nursing Home, and a Valentine party at the nursing home.
