Listening and dancing to the melodious Cap students have enjoyed many memorable Sock Rock! To help speed the members of the Girls Ensemble across the miles to Salt Lake City, the Dance Band sponsored an all school dance following the victory of the Mustangs over the Knights. Pursuing perfection, our peppy popular pep band enthusiasti- cally performs at such activities as ramping rallies, fabulous football games and bouncing basketball games.

The girls, along with their chaperons Mr. and Mrs. Hunt and Penny Johnstone, a harpist from Mills High School, were 5 1- 3 .D 'W fffa. 1 l promptly invited to spend an exciting and fun-filled five days in Salt lake City, Utah, where they performed for the Western United States Educators's Convention. tibi- i- Capturin man ad 9 Y - miring glances, Cap's Banner Girls proud- ly strutted by the crowds at Long Beach in front of Cap's magnificent marching band.
