Assistant Principals Guide, Motivate: Hennigan, Rains Coordinate Activities Two people who are essential to the operation of Captain Shreve are assistant principals, Mr. Wayne Hennigan and Mrs. Sarah Rains. Much of the responsibility of running the school is in their hands. Mr. Hennigan supervises attendance, disci- pline, and school activities. His face is familiar at school dances and athletic events. The distribu- tion of lunch passes is another time-consuming job of Mr. Hennigan’s. Mrs. Rains devotes her time to keeping rec- ords, advising teachers, and orientating new stu- dents. She may be found substituting for a teach- er in any class, although Spanish is her specialty. TOP LEFT: Mr. Hennigan marks calendar at his desk.
