Sponsoring the funfilled, busy day was the student council. To get the day rolling was daisy distribution and the Horn Korn show. The slave sale in the auditorium followed the show . Lunch time brought the pie-eating contests and the car bash in the cafeteria parking lot. After school all four classes of women had a softball tournament with the men of each class as coaches. Some programs are sponsored by various clubs and organizations for fund raisingg others are services from outside groups. Assemblies range from pantomime shows to talent contests, from dance contests to mini-concerts, and from pep rallies to class elections. Mr. Jerome McDonough and his stage crew work with sponsors to handle technical duties of all assemblies. Capro ck Presen ts Fiddler on the Roof was performed February 4 and 5, by a cast of forty-three dedicated Caprock students. Hard working directors, stage crew and pit orchestra added to the overall success of the 1977 musical. Cast in lead roles were Randy Dollar as Tevye, Novelyn Flippo as Golde, Allison Foust as Tzeitel, Brenda Green as Hodel, Marie Del Marco as Chava , and Dane Williams as the Fiddler.
