Assemblies were held for many reasons. Pep rallies were held every Friday during football season. Freshmen pep rallies were held in the gym every Thursday morning during homeroom. Many special assemblies were held throughout the year. Among these were assemblies for election of class officers, a Christmas assem- bly, a fashion show for the girls, the Sadie Hawkins assembly, and the Senior Day skit.
