TRUMAN is the second First Lady of the Land to be- come the Pages' Godmother. The first was Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt. Through the kindness of these two ladies, ties between the White House and the pages have been strengthened and a genuine bond of friendship between the president and his family has been established. THE CONGRESSIONAL salutes the Page's Godmother, then, who once said: My earnest hope is that the members of the Capitol Page School will profit by their stay in the Capitol and will return to their homes resolved to become better citizens of their communities and of our great country. ..51... l l i , 2 il XB.
