This year's contest play is The
Miracle Worker. This talented
group travels and competes
around the area. Helen Keller is
played by Nicki Jayg Mr. Keller is
played by Wade Miller, and Mrs.

James is portrayed by Clay
Jackson, while Annie Sullivan is
played by Melodie Morgan. The
cast put in many long hours to
make this a successful endeavor.

This year members of the CHS Art Department participated and won awards in the
Scholastic Art Award competition. Awards given were certificates of merit, gold
keys, and the highest award, the Hallmark. There is no doubt, these CHS par-
ticipants made outstanding achievements.

The Industrial Arts Club provides opportunities for
those interested in woodworking. They often con-
tributed their spare time to work on projects that went
to regional competition held at West Texas State
g University. The members also sold candy to raise money
for a ski trip to New Mexico. These activities along with
the enthusiasm of the members help to promote in-
1 dustrial arts.
