it This year's A.S.B. cabinet and leadership class attempted many new and varied ideas. Among these were the Homecoming picnic, recreations in the new Activities office, and the many Christ- mas activities. We had many successes and a few failures, but overall we had a very pros- perous year. On Saturday, November fourth, gals of Canyon High hogtied their favorite guys and attended the Sadie Hawkins Dance. The cafeteria was trans- formed into a barn with a star-covered ceiling while everyone danced to the music of The City. Preacher Ray Dunne was on hand for the mock marriage ceremony and moonshine and cookies were served throughout the evening. Daisy May and Li'l Abner were juniors Debbie Short and lon Dunne. The other members of the court, chosen by the students who attended the dance, were nomi- nated for their service to Canyon and the commu- nity. They included Sheri Neal, john Curtner, Lisa Christensen, Steve Kouri, Briana Baldwin, Mike Kaulfelt, Denise Nakamoto, and Kevin Kiene. 96
