There were many activities that kept Canyon stu- dents busy onthe WEEKEN DS. Weekend events in- cluded such diverse activities as skiing, surfing, moto-cross, playing football, throwing frisbees, ten- nis, going to the movies, cruising, visiting the beach, attending concerts, and frequenting local amuse- ment parks. Many other events, too numerous to mention were undertaken by students. 1. Mike McAfee reads leisurely on the weekend. 2. and 3. Show- ing off his mean machine, Kurt Kleine demonstrates a feel for his automobile. 4. Playing volleyball on days off is an interest of Elaine Houck. 5. Many Canyon students spend lazy after- noons at a nearby park. 6. Casual football games abound on weekends. l'T l I l l l'l'l U7 U7 -l l'l l -l U3 34 113
