Illl TIIE SI'll'I'I.Ilill'I' Both Drama Club and Speech Team mem- bers became well-practiced in being on-stage in '77-781 Members of Drama Club visited the sets of One Day at a Time , All in the Family and Carter Country as one of their activities. They also participated in a candy saleg money raised vvas used for the purchase of costumes and prop materials. Most of the Drama Club members either acted or worked on drama pro- ductions under the guidance of Advisor Frank Bello. Ms. jackie Sagouspe kept the '78' Forensics Team talking, the team members' speech topics ranged from yo-yos' to 'approval seeking.' Talented students appeared in many Orange County tournaments and state competitions. I. Speech Team members Roy Hennegan and Becky Rivera help each other memorize speeches. 2. Hours of rehearsal give Carla Edmonds the confidence needed to compete in a tournament. 3. Drama Clubg Front Row: Gabby Angotti, Cindy Poer, Bob Fehd, Pam Westmore, Nancy Garber, Luke Beamer, Middle Row: Mr. Frank Bello, lean Cray, Pam Bry- ant, Terri Raney, Peggy Duquesnel, lonee Shady, lonel Nicholson, Karen Carver, Back Row: Laure Mac Connell, Mark Picogna. 4. Beneath posters of great performers, Rocky Zion leads the Drama Club in a discussion of field trip possibilities. 5. Pam Bryant critiques David Crook's speech. 6. Prop production isn't all fun and games as is clearly seen on Dave Cook's face as he is watched by Brenda limenez. 7. Advisor Jackie Sagouspe's room provides the setting for an animated performance by Forensic Team member David Burke. 62
