, I' I M I I A collection of the finest voices available at Canyon was a highly appropriate definition for Chamber Singers The group was assembled through an audition of which only a small per centage were accepted Because Chamber Sing ers represented Canyon s finest, they were ex pected to perform more often than other singing groups The Chamber Singers were requested to sing for Canyon Hills students, at jazz Festivals and for private parties The Concert Choir strived this year to increase the level of music appreciation at Canyon High As a stepping stone to higher choirs, Concert Choir tried to teach vocal harmonies and togeth erness Some of the activities included assem blues, concerts, and competition festivals Womans Ensemble, a select group of female singers, represented some of the best female vo calists at Canyon The ensemble performed mostly with the Concert Choir at assemblies and concerts The favorite song of the group was jingle Bell Travalogue, which was choreo graphed and performed with costumes 1 Womans Ensemble Front Row April Hayncs Nancy ja cobson Mary Galvin Lisa Salgar Beth Gates joAnn Guer rero Sue Senft Tina Dacus jollenne MacConnell Middle Row Kathy Hartmann Roxanna Papez Carolyn Mclntosh Sheryl Senft Andrea Reid Carman Munoz Shirley Papera Lori Davis Chris Matthews Toni Thomas Stephanie Brown Back Row: Debbie Witsoe Martha Maloy Heide Coakley Briana Baldwin Donna Poore Heidi Lowe Leslie Swan Becky Brown jody O Neill Michele Maietta Nancy Bowdle.
