GAIM 'C I'IillI'I,Ii I' LAY A reasonable facsimile of television's Dating Game was co-sponsored by Villa Park and Ca- nyon on February 22. Sixteen contestants were involved in the student exchange, these students were intensively screened to avoid the rude, out- spoken questioning that occurred in past games. The end result was four couples going out to Harlequin Dinner Playhouse. The goal of the Dating Game was to improve inter-school rela- tions, everyone involved agreed that this was ac- complished. Entertainment and fund-raising, the reasons behind the Donkey Basketball Game, were both accomplished on March 7 in the gym. Com- anche's were told over KCHS that The donkeys are coming,'i' but to the dismay of everyone, the donkeys were less than willing to play. The stu- dents were eventually the losers, but judging by the sore, stiff teachers, everyone lost something during the game. Mr. Roy Beven's grossness, Sue Busse's phenomenal fall, and Ms. Gail Lev- ine's disastrous fall made the evening a unique experience for everyone. Due to an excellent turnout, enough money was raised to help pay for the senior Laureate Awards. 1. Cindy Chateau displays some expert ball handling. 2. Coach lim Cams' donkey just couldn't stick around to see if Darren Webb made the basket, but he left his rider hang- ing in suspense. 3. lim Weneta, Laure McConnell, Ginger Bagley, and Willie Williams get together after the Villa Park Dating Game. 4. Darren Webb shoots for two to help raise the student's score. 5.
