Rod Spencer helped rack up points in the 120 high hurdles and high jump as well. According to Coach Harper Ephrom, We have a fine miler in Dave Ruble whose consistent effort helped lift Canyon's scores. School record holder Dave Russell led the sprint- ers and anchored the relay teams featuring jim Mae, Eric Fremont and Larry Hand. Leading a group of sophomore shot put and discus throw- ers was Doug Price. Ned Anthony, joel Atkin, Herb Edetsberger, Tony Hardridge, jim Gifford, Dave Newman and jim Roche built for a strong reserve for the future.
