The teaching staff was adjusted to accommodate extra sophomore courses, and students were shifted from classroom to class- room in order to regulate class size. The class of '80 got off to a strong start despite everything under the leadership of Mr. Mark Reider. Money for the prom was raised by a booth at Canyon's first annual carnival and by a candy sale. 1. Sophomore Class Officers: President Mike Kauffelt and Treasurer Rob Morton. 2.
