The club was sponsored by Mr. Damzalski and was held in The Drivers' EducaTion room aT Canyon Del Oro. The TRAGYC club dealT wiTh The highway TransporTaTion sysTem and The surrounding communiTy. The club members worked on proiecTs such as The seaT belT drive, which is an annual evenT. and dealT wiTh Taking a survey oT The people driving in and ouT oT Canyon Del Oro. The survey sTaTed how many people wore seaT belTs and also Tried To convince people To begin To wear Them. The club was also Taced wiTh The problem oT Trying To geT The Town To cuT down on The road hazards around The neighboring ciTies and Towns. Sandra Wong is very inTeresTed in The TRAGYC Club and ThereTore pays close aTTenTion To her insTrucTor. The season began wiTh The ChrisTmas concerT which Took place aT San Xavier Mission where The chorus combined voices wiTh Amphi High Schools chorus. This, Tollowed wiTh CDO's ChrisTmas con- cerT in The new audiTorium, were many diTTerenT acTiviTies ThaT Took place. Mr. Waggoner gave a loT oT encouragemenT To The chorus sTudenTs before and aTTer Their perTormances, as well as during class To help The ambiTious. PreparaTions Tor a concerT Took many weeks oT hard work and pracTice, which led To perTec- Tion in The perTormances. The concerTs were enioyed by all ages, and The chorus sTudenTs had an enlighTening year. The chorus Teacher, Mr. Waggener, gives an expression OT saTisTac- Tion aTTer hearing his sTudenTs sing a well-rehearsed song.
