Anos De Oro asked Mrs. Frey if she ThoughT The new gymnasium was needed or iusT a wasTe oT The Taxpayers' money. She replied, No, The new gymnasium gives boTh Physi- cal EducaTion and aThleTics more space To build programs. For example, we could oTTer badminTon on nine courTs raTher Than iusT six lin The old gymnasiuml. There was less need To Talce down and puT up neTs because oT conTlicTs beTween Physical EducaTion and aThleTics. There was a room ThaT was used Tor gymnasTics, which made boTh Teams and classes saTer and more enjoyable. Mrs. Frey ThoughT ThaT class crediT should have been given Tor sTudenTs in aTTer school acTiviTies. Each acTiviTy would have been iusT like a period oT Physical EducaTion.
