Aios de Oro: A Printed Memor The Anos de Oro staff spent countless hours struggling to meet the deadlines. The staff was guided by editors who worked late hours, screamed a lot, and pleaded with the publishing company to be allowed an extra twenty-four hours. The editors who showed patient and sometimes impatient leadership were Barbie Kohl, Beth Cowles, and Heidi Beers. When accomplishing an assignment, a staff member learned on-the-job training including layout, copy writing, photography, and advertisement sales.
