Little Something for Ever one Bible Club was the club that offered something for everyone. Headed up by Mr. Gann, the Bible Club was composed of 40 members. They met every morning at 7:30 for a prayer to start their day, and on T.A. The Bible Club dealt with trans- lating statememts from the Bible and having these state- ments help with enriching the students life toward Christ. Bible Club wasn't out to teach religion, but to enlighten the kids toward Christ. As Mr. Gann stated, I feel Bible Club can give students the satisfaction of their spiritual need. l'm trying to provide a need for the students, to present Christ as a human being, so as to use him as a pattern. Bible Club was a learning and fulfilling club for anyone. ,,-V, k,gV . we 'ltuqq hs.,1i i T-Q Q 'lm--......--.:, ' 'lnunu.f ,, :'- www, M' Picture 1, John Tillinghast, Kiki Lenoard, Donna Zucarelli, Debbie Williams, and Debbie Lucke, pay particular attention on a discussion of the Old Testa- ment. Soccer: a oal for the Future Soccer was one of the fastest growing sports in the country and in turn, grew in popularity at CDO. The boys' team con- sisted of 18 players and the two girls teams consisted of about 16 players each. The teams, which competed against many other teams in Pima County, practiced twice a week and had games on the weekends. The guys were under the direction of Wolfgang Weber and the girls teams were coached by Matt Harelson, a former CDO student and boys soccer team member, and the Aloi's. Besides learning the skills, spirit was an important part of the season. As girls soccer team member Barbie Kohl put it, I guess you really can't have a team of any kind without spirit. r . , ,-'M -:fr 1 ' , . 1' . 2 ' rt: Y M 71,57 .V .
