Pride, Patience, and Personalit What's involved in administrative work? A little of everything, according to several CDO office work- ers. I work late, put up with constant student problems, and strive to improve student-teacher reIationships, said one administrator. Working in the office requires patience and a certain amount of dedication. I feel that building up stu- dent trust is more important than any kind of paperwork or filing, commented one Secretary, and it seems that the Canyon administration is succeeding in its drive to reach the students. Students generally seemed to agree that the office was open to their needs. A student said, I had no problem getting help when I needed it. The office became physically closer to the stu- dents with its move to the lower 600 wing. The 600 was considered a more central location, and it was more convenient to have two offices. One student observed, The office seems more spread out now, and is larger and more equip- ped. lt's been said that the CDO administration is something to be proud of-it's one of the best.
