FOREWORD The Annual Staff meditated all summer, striving to arrive at a suitable theme for this year's book. Then, like a gift from heaven, we discovered that this year is the Twenty-fifth Anniversary of the Canton South Moderian. Twenty-five years ago the first Annual Staff created a yearbook, and thus set a tradition which has accompanied South through the years. We have built our Moderian around this anniversary. Throughout -the book are reproduc- tions of pages from former annuals of Canton South, beginning in 1938 and continuing to the present. It has been a pleasure to serve you as the Annual Staff, and we hope you, the reader, will feel as much pride and pleasure in this book as we do. Janice Lunsford .....
