The only way I can distinguish the C. Rays is by Claudefs eagerness to recite. Fremont County Leader, August, 1914: A unique sewing party took place at the home of W'ilbur Combs last 'Friday after- noon. 'l'he pennant committee of the Sophomore Class of C. C. H. S., including' the Misses Esther Manlove, Irma Miittou, 'Theo Emmerson. Sarah -i?l2lI'CllI1f2'. and Ruth Goodrich, met to design the class pennant. The pennant has a red background with a white seal of very original type. The sew- ing' is all being done by hand, and the boys are found as efhcient in this capacity as the girls. The ta- bles were beautifully decorated in orange and black, the Senior's class colors. The room was lighted with candles, which shed a soft glow over the faces of all-. A flash light picture was taken immediately after the company was seated.. This year's ban- quet is said to have been the prettiest one for many years. The dinner was delicious. and the toasts which followed were very good.
