As I am writing this, I am sitting on the front steps of our school , To my left is the Science Building, to my right is the new classroom build- ing, still under construction, and in back of me is the Administration Building. These are all great tributes to Hunterville. Our beautiful green lawns and our majestic buildings are all living truths that remind us that Canoga is the greatest. Those that have gone before us have made it so, and we, now, are ever striving to make it a living tradition for those that come after us. As Hunters we all have so much to be thankful for: above all, the high caliber students that surround us make it a pleasure to go here, our fine teachers that give us inspiration to do big- ger and better things in the world, and our trad- itions, marked with honor and glory. Never let us forget the illustrious past we have had. And it's not over, Hunters will continue to have the best school ever. I am deeply honored that I have had even a small part in adding to it. For this I am, indeed grateful and happy to be a Hunter at Canoga. Good luck to all Hunters in any and everything I they might endeavor to do. .lack Russell Evidence has been found that the TOP ROW: B. McAlister, Inside Pub., M. Hartmann, Clubs Chairman, K. As the semester close is now upon us, many of our students will be facing new situations and experiences. To the graduating seniors their life is now beginning anew. The door has suddently opened and freedoms of an unlimited nature will be theirs to enjoy. But with these freedoms there will be new and added responsibilities, the principle one being to themselves as individuals embarking on a new horizon. From here on, their lives will be molded into the permanent mold. I want to extend my congratulations and best wishes for your future happiness. To you, the remaining students, there will also be new ex- periences coupled with responsibilities to your parents and your school . Here you are setting the foundation for your life . In closing, I would like to leave you with this thought What we will be we are now becoming . Sincerely, Richard Zimmerman caveman had disovered the big wheel. STUDENT BODY CABINET S'60 FRONT ROW: L.
