Good Morning Student! YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT! The start of another perfect day. anotheiiperfect breakfast . . . with eggs an toast as the entree. and rolls and bacon on the side, you've got all you need to start the day off right. On schedule as usual you sip another glass of orange juice while pausing to reflect on the benefits of a good breakfast. Today you could climb mountains. forge new trails, boldlfy go where no man has ever gone be ore. easily becoming the eighth wonder of the world. And to think it'all began with a good breakfast. Marchin down the hall to first hour Barry radiates sunshine before the sun has even risen. Keepinglup with other students, Barry is on is way through -a challenge filled but rewarding day. Like an eager prize fighter, Barry awaits the bell which will signal the beginning of yet another mental battle. His arm goes up like a shot, and his mouth dro s open in eagerness everytime Eis teacher walks in. Oh, Teacher, Teacher, please Teacher!! l gotta say something! shouts Barry Neumann. What is it. Barry? asks the teacher. Good morning, dear Teacher! fchalk up another 12 brownie points for Barrylj l 1:-sr - A With blood pulsating in his temples and ten- dons vibrating in his rippling, bulging biceps triceps, and pectorals, Barry strains to finish the last 95 curls in yet another daily workout Always in his mind is his idol, the Bionic Man, whose muscles brought him fame, for- tune, and the attentions of one Farrah Faw- cett. -

Q5 Thoughts of jumping jacks and sit-ups only increase J ulie's hunger and fatigue as she sits in the solitude of the deserted locker room. Calisthenics never were a high oint of her morning, but today Julie can't gear the thought of bending down to tie her shoe- laces. And Then Again. . . YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT The start of another rotten day. another rotten breakfast . . . your mother burned the toast again and the last of the milk is on the floor. But it doesn't really matter. . .you weren't really hungry anyway. Besides. you overslept and there's only time enough to drink the pop you left out last night. Today you can't find the energy to climb the stairs. You'll get lost at lunch accidentally lock yourself in your locker, and amaze your teachers with how exhausted you look. And to think it all began with a rotten breakfast! Getting to class on time becomes a struggle for Shari Fiedler when her friend. Julie. decides to take a nap on the way. A brick wall isn't as soft as a pillow, but Julie, in her weak- ened state. hardly seems to notice as she sleep walks down the hall to her next class. Apparently becoming the victim of the mid-morniniblahs, an exhausted Julie avis slumps over her English textbook. All desire of knowledge leaves her as she drifts off into dreams of steaming pan- cakes and glazed doughnuts. Obvi- ously, Julie lacks snap. crackle. and pop. .
