Some of the weird clothes they wore and the boys sure seemed to have a problem-- walking around in large groups and the boys dodging the girls in the hallways. Unusual? Not really--it's just our way of celebrating Sadie Hawkins Day-our dress-up day affording the young ladies the opportunity of asking the young gentlemen for the dates! 55 FALL FESTIVAL . - J Ho- Z.. 1.1 -. -V , Flip the Whip at the Dip - Vega- Shoot - Whale-of-a-Chance --the gym was transformed into a colorful carnival where the students could do anything from winning an expensive painting to throwing whipped cream at faculty. The Student Association sponsored kids on welfare. Thus our fun was shared--a process that doubled it. 56 l DONKEY BASKETBALL It was a battle between man and beast-- the donkey basketball game produced groans, laughs, spills, thrills, and heehaws and looked more like a rodeo than a basketball game--all combined to make an evening of entertainment and un . t CHRISTMAS MUSIC PROGRAM What is Christmas? In this case it was music. Our Music Department took the spirit of Christmas--set it to music--and shared it with us. After experiencing the music, we were further drawn into the snowy world of Christmas with a ski film. To top things off, there were sundaes and popcorn for everyone who wanted to sup- port the Junior Class. LAZY B WRANGLERS Home, Home on the Range -- The music of the Lazy B Wranglers filled the chapel as students and faculty relaxed and enjoyed the lively evening of entertainment. ANDY FERRIER Andy Ferrier presented a sacred and a secular concert, during which he taught the audience toyodel. Perhaps the shortage of some material things in our lives will help us to increase the intake of the abundant spiritual power that is available to us. This source of power is infinite. It is ready at our demand. This power for a victorious life is ours to receive through the grace of God. lt is there at the present time for students and teachers alike. Received into our lives it will not only give us victory in our individual lives, but will give us a successful school year in all areas--spiritual, scholastic and social. 114 FACULTY FAND STAFF To our staff-- Whether we meet you in the classroom, in the office, or at work, we always know that you are there working with us and for us. There have and always will be complaints about stu- dent-faculty relations, but we want you to know that through this year your efforts have been sincerely appreciated. It has been fun getting to know you and becoming friends. Staff--we think you're great-- thank you for being so uniquely you.
