Lillie Jean makes two points forthe girls. The girls went a long way in the region this year. In their first game they upset Douglas County 38-31. They then defeated Hapeville 40-36 and Fairburn 38-32, qualifying for the state tournaments in Macon. ln the finals in Atlanta they were defeated by Newton County 58-42. ln the state tournaments they were defeated by Miller County 58-38.
