Howard Spruit Lane Hecker Yearly Councilman Councilwornan Gregg Anderson Carolyn Hannah Councilman Councilwoman Solved many problems Consisting of seven elected members, three of whom are otiicers: President, Vice-President, and Sec- retary, the Council is the main legislative body of the Associated Students, An eighth member is the Stu- dent Manager, the work-horse of the Council. Besides all legislative powers some of the Coun- cil's duties consist of approving the Student Body budget, and events of the Student Body, to determine the price of Student Body cards, and to authorize all requisitions sent through the Student-Manager, and all requests from subsidiary organizations to sponsor any activity involving funds. This year the Student Council has been trying to establish closer relations with our two sister schools of the district, Del Mar and Camden. In March, the Council sponsored a school-wide Clean-Campus campaign, with competition between the two lunch hours. A second project was the re- vision of our Constitution. After a thorough study, it was found that in many places the Constitution was not only unclear, but also ambiguous, It was decided to revise it, for greater practicality.
