Although Rozet annexed the Hrst score of the evening, the Camels were able to bring home a favorable score of 18-10. The Rozet High School gymnasium has been enlarged and greatly improved over the structure of former years, Then came Christmas. All the boys were given permission ac- cording to Coach Fitch-to eat everything in sight. lt is believed that they took advantage of the week's rest from training. The week-end following Christmas, the Sundance Bulldogs stopped off for a game with the Camels. The Bulldogs played a classy brand of basketball, and that, coupled with the fact that they out-reached the local boys by at least a foot, made it possible for them to nose out an easy victory to the tune of 25-6. The Camels had plenty of fight, and held the Bullodgs to a Z-2 score during the hrst half but from then on it was the Sundance boy's game. Long hours of practice, scrimmage with the town team, living up to training rules, and generally learning what the hoop game was all about, filled the next week. The work was not without its reward, and Friday night saw a victory of 25-15 for the Camels over the Timber Wolves from Moorcroft. During this game Coach Fitch gave some ex- perience to the baby Camels. The next week-end the Camels led the attack against the Moorcroft team on their home floor. The floor was smaller than the floor at home but the Camels reared around for a few minutes then started to work, with the result that another score was taken in for the Camels. B The Newcastle game on the local floor packed the gym. The game was fast and close, resulting in a tied score. During the extra period the Camels dropped in a couple of baskets, clinching the victory. Score 19-23. The most memorable event of the evening was Pete's long shot from the middle of the floor. Before long the Buffalo Bison came down to the Camel's feeding grounds. Christy's long shots, and the improvement Coach had given the team was responsible for the Camel's victory of 21-16. Q54 il 4 ll' - fl , f-- Eff , The victory over Buffalo was short lived, however, for tive days later Newcastle was successful in defeating the Camels at Newcastle 8-18. The next was a meet between the Bullodgs and the Camels at Sundance. Thistime we saw the score 4-I9 in favor of Sundance. A little later Rozet came up to see what luck they would have with the Camels. Rozet had improved' but left with the small part of the score. The next day the Camels made a call at the Bisons home and were. trampled on by a I9-I4 score. Where Have You Heard These? u Note books will be due Friday. Outah the halls. Accuracy and not speed.
