COUNCIL TRAINS FOR LEADERSHIP An informal session of Student Council members takes time out for a pose. Just as the music of a band depends upon the unity of its players, so the success of any school depends greatly on the quality of its governing body. Cameron High School has al- ways placed a hard working group at the head of her govern- ment, and this year we again chose a fine Council. This was proved as the year progressed in the harmonious and seldom discorded functions and duties that were performed by both individuals and committees. The Council sponsored many projects. 21

Somewhere in between a copy pencil or two and a picture or three the 1965 CAMPUS ECHOES was born. Conceived in a dream, born in serenity and delivered in complete panic, this year's book is a new picture with a new face and a new wardrobe. It represents some 233 students, two or three headaches, about 1000 erasures, and close to a million pieces of scratch paper. Months of work have gone into the planning and assembling of the 1965 CAMPUS ECHOESto make it capably represent the thoughts, traditions , and activities of CHS.
