FHA Sweetheart - W. E. Gray FHA Helps Girls Improve Personal Family And Community Life The FHA is for girls who are interested in future plans in homemaking. It teaches them etiquette con- sisting of table setting and serving. They spend a portion of their time in the sewing room. The study of different styles and fabric textures adds interest to their wardrobe. They also study child care, proper diet, home nursing nursing and cooking. The FHA is responsible for the con- cession stand at the football games. Block C Promotes Interest In Sports Athletics is a must to develop school spirit and unity in every school. In ours the purpose of the Block C is to achieve this. They award jackets or sweaters to every student who has compiled enough playing quarters in any sports. This proves to be a real incentive to the players to do their best. They keep the concession stands at the basketball games to raise the needed funds. Tom, Buzzy and Michael keep the concession stand at the Bowman game. 21

FFA Sweetheart - Linda Shirer. FFA Maintains Goal To Develope Special Interest The organization or the FFA of Cameron has done much to bring recognition and praise to its school. It strives to better prepare its members for the positions they will occupy in their future lives. Mr. Dantzler has worked with this group of boys to teach new methods of farming, working on a motor, parliamentary procedure, soil judging, and other practical skills. The FFA has an organized parliamentary team and soil judging team that has come first place in the state many years. The FFA is a noted worthy organization, because the members have realized the true significance of their club and their interest have made it grow.
