Anyfown - Jlm Brown, Brad Hartman, Susan Chudy, Anne Kauffman Glrls Stale - Shannon Glllham, Suzanne Dlppe, Lori BOYS Sfdfe- Spangler, Kara Dorn Boys and Glrls State Boys and Girls State ls where students learn about government. They run for city, county, and state offices. The offices they can run for are governor, senator, county recorder, ITleI'0l1 and various other state offlces. Shannan Gilham, Suzl Dippe, Ann Spangler, and Kara Dorn represented Camelback High. Ken Sweat and Bobby Dubnow went to Boys State as Camelback's representatives. Ken Sweat, Brlan Hoyt, Robert Dubnow, Davld Ta- Anytown Lee Anytown is a human relations camp. Students come from every walk of Ilfe to partlcepate. Students learn to respect one another regardless of the different backgrounds.

Third Row: vanessa Reuman, Kelly Hanks, Hollle Thompson. Pom, Cheer and Flag are the schools splrlt llnes. Each llne has set requirements for the tryouts. Returnlng members must also tryout agaln. The cheer tryouts conslst of an orlglnal cheer, spllts, and a gymnastlc stunt, plus also the group cheer. For the tryouts for Pom the glrls must be able to do four dlfterent klcks, the spllts, and a dance routlne that was choreographed by themselves, and also a dance made up by thelr sponsor, Mrs. Glanettl, and the senlor llne members. For the Flag tryouts they are requlred to do a few klcks, the spllts, a orlglnal dance uslng the flags, and also one made up by the sponsor, Mrs. Johnson. After the llnes are chosen the glrls begln long and hard practlces. In order to ralse enough money for thelr unlforms, glfts, and supplles needed for the next year they hold fund ralslng events. ' The Llnes maln goal for the year ls to promote school splrlt for the varlous events golng on throughout the school year. They attend all pep rallles and assemblles, football games, basketball games, and other athletlc actlvltles. 22 SEPTEMBER
