International strives to put cultures together ll nternational Club tries to bring all the different cultures together and enjoy them while learn- ing about them, explained l. J. C-ian- nantonio, Vice President. To qualify for the International Club one had to have taken a foreign language for at least one year. A few activities put on bythe club included their annual trip to Nogales, and sponsoring some dances. ln Sep- tember they also had two dance instructors perform dances of differ- ent countries, and one performed in America. international Club officers were: Tanino Priviteria, President, 1.1. The purpose of these clubs was to further the study of both the Spanish and French languages and cultures. Spanish National Honor Society held a Forensic meet spoken in Span- ish, sponsored a dance, inducted new members and sold foreign lan- guage pins. The trip is an annual event, in which most of the club members participate. ,, we If .. 'll 'J .f as 1 M' ts. Two Kraut Klub members indulge in one of the Sunday afternoon soccer games. Kraut Klub sponsors activities designed for group enjoyment I I he main purpose of the Kamelback Kraut Klub was to have fun, stated Hans Schoenborn, spon- sor. To accomplish this, the Kraut Klub ice skated, played football, trav- eled to the Mogollon Rim for a pic- nic, and went on the annual trip to Sunrise, for skiing. The club, consisting of about 50 members, had only one requirement for membership, all members had to be willing to have fun. The officers of the Kraut Klub were: Bruce Simpson, President, jeff Dunbow, Vice President, Dave Salow, Treasurer, and Donna Feck, Secretary.
