'Fabulous Fads' serves as theme of Homecoming ampus activities peaked dur- ing the week of November 8-12: Homecoming Week at CBHS. Members of the Homecoming Committee, headed by senior Mary Dooley, chose the theme Fabulous Pads to base the vveek's lunchtime and half-time activities. Lunch-hour activities included Volkswagen stuffing, tricycle riding and hula-hoopingg contests in trivia, bubble-blowing and limbo , and judging of ties, buttons, hats, T-shirts and socks. Last year's Homecoming King and Queen, Larry Benjamin and Missy Ankenbrandt, spoke at the Home- coming Assembly, where candidates for this year's royalty were intro- duced. At the Homecoming Game, our football team members were not the only winners - Melinda Kelley and Mark Poppe were crowned Home- coming Queen and King during half- time. is 4' E......,, 'QA' . ,L . Holida Fest draws students, teachers, staff tudents, faculty members and CBHS staff attended the Holiday Fest, held on December 20. Classes ended at 11:30, students could either stay ,W for planned activities or leave cam- pus. Students competed in three-Ieg- ged and sack races, and games of vol- leyball, balloon tossing and tug-of- war. A variety of musical groups and soloists performed in the horseshoe and in the ramada area during the day. David and Lisa was presented by Masque and Gavel members Decem- ber 7-10.
