Auditions for Masque and Gavel's production of David and Lisa were held in the Drama Room on October 11 and 12. The cast and crews were announced the next day, rehearsals Arizona Representative, Morris Udall, speaks about current political issues. 20 OCTOBER ACTIVITIES began immediately and lasted throughout October. Vocal music students, under the direction of Mr. Grant jenkins, enter- tained their parents on the evening of October 26. The concert was held in the cafeteria, causing over-crowd- ing and acoustical problems. Conso- lation could be found in realizing that this was the last concert before the new music facilities were availa- ble. Buttons, posters, wagers and heated political arguments became common on campus as city, state, and national general elections neared. Morris Udall, ex-presidential candidate, spoke on national politics at CBHS during his re-election cam- paign. Frank Spotnitz and Mary Cabanski read for the leading roles in David and Lisa.
