Leonard r H d BY AND Fon Pfesiiizfff U7 from fa Ove io Sepfem THE STUDENTS Since its inception the Student Government Grgani- zation has existed as a type of institution in Camden High. The Student Government is a service organization embodying such necessary school factors as the Traf- fic, Usher, and Insignia groups. Each Thursday elected representatives of the stu- dent body meet to discuss problems which confront them and mutually seek their solutions. The September-February term was under the direc- tion of Leonard Hudson, President, Sidney Levy, First Vice-President, Dolores Griffiths, Second Vice-President, Iohn Murray, Secretary, Margaret Steck, Recorder, and Miss Ruth Carey, Faculty Adviser. The February-Iune term was under the leadership of Sidney Levy, President, Dudley Lowden, First Vice- President, Mary Colallilo, Second Vice-President, Iohn Murray, Secretary, and Marjorie Wahl, Recorder. Among the more outstanding projects which the Stu- dent Government has carried through this year was the formation of the Defense Stamp Committee under the chairmanship of Robert Luartes. Serving on the committee with him were Peggy Moffett and Donald Davis. In the first ten days of sales the Defense Stamp Com- mittee disposed of a thousand dollars' worth of stamps and bonds.
