WILLIAM U. DREIZLER RALPH H. WHITE IN MEMORY OF We, the Class of Ianuary 1942, pay tribute to a beloved member of the faculty, Mr. William Dreizler, who was suddenly taken from our midst on November 16, 1941. I-Ie never made a brow look dark, Nor caused a tear . . He was our guide, helper, confidant, and friend. To understand his untimely departure is to attempt the impossible. This, however, we know, his spirit will keep on living in the hearts of many of us for years to come. Camden High School sustained a severe loss in the death of Mr. Ralph White, who was known not only as a member of the faculty, but also as a friend to all. His untir- ing efforts as head of the science department and director of the school's N. Y, A. program will long be remembered. Mr. White's belief in, love and understanding of, human nature won the hearts of many. . . friend to truth, of soul si.ncere, In action faithful, and in honour clear, Who broke no promise, serv'd no private end . . The memory of Mr. White, our friend, may well be an inspiration to us as We take up our tasks in the world of tomorrow.

FOR A BETTER TOMORROW Months before we entered the war on the side of our allies, many of our former teachers were serving in the United States Army. Now America is battling along with the United Na- tions in total war. Six of our teachers are serv- ing throughout the boundaries of our fair coun- try. These men along with hundreds of thous- ands of other loyal Americans are fighting side by side-fighting for the very democracy we all love and cherish. We shall never forget these men, for to the students of Camden High School they were more than teachers, they exemplified to all the fine character and ideals of true American manhood. Although these men are scattered over the broad expanse of our country, every student and every faculty member wishes them the greatest possible amount of good fortune in their grave undertakings. We shall all look forward hopefully to the day that our cause is won and these same teachers may return to their former positions in Camden High School.
