Math Club Has New Title The purpose of the new- ly founded Mu Alpha The- ta according to sponsors Bill Bacon and Gordon Maroney, is to engender keener interest in mathematics, to develop sound scholarship in the subject, and to promote enjoyment of mathematics among the students of Camden High School. Membership is by invi- tation only. To be invited to join the club a student must have an overall B average, a B average in math with no semester grade lower than C, a sa- tisfactory citizen grade, and must enroll in Ad- vanced Math I. The sponsors planned a very active club. Through- out the year the club went on field trips, and picnics, parties, math contests, fund raising activities and participated in the annual Math Day! Week.
