COUNCILZ WORKS V E RY HAR D Student Council sponsors the Homecoming festivities every year. The students manage and finance the production. This year, Homecoming was a great success, thanks to the hard work of the Student Council members. The biggest working pro- ject for the Council is the sale of school day pictures. This involved several mem- bers who helped distribute and identify them. The Council is working on get- ting more assemblies and sponsored the Arkansas Re- pertory Theater in a spring perfomnnce. Early in the year, the Student Council held an ap- preciation party for the tea- chers. They presented them with a Microwave Oven for the Teachers Lounge. Mrs. Arnold, the sponsor af- firmed that the year had been very successful for the Student Council.
