Powderpuff was FUN! The weather was gor- geous and spirits were high as the junior and sopho- more girls competed against the senior and freshman girls in a PowderPuff foot- ball game in November. The junior-sohpomore team, led by Katherine Deane scored the first touch down. While anxious senior- freshman coaches watched their team make a strong comeback in the fourth quarter, causing the game to end in a 6-6 tie. The Highlight of the half- time activities was the crowning of the Homecom- ing Queen and court. The game was sponored by the Publications class, under the direction of Lisa Harrell, activities chairman. Homecomzhg Royalty. Torrence, Donald Cox, were escorted by the female Powderpuff team. They were joe Chris Kyser, Chris Williams, Alan Fohn. bris Williams is being crowned for Homecoming. Girls seem to enjoy running in the Powderpuff game.

FCA PRCVIDES GCDALS FDR ATHLETES The purpose of FCA is to provide an environment for developing fellowship, per- sonal Christian growth, ser- vice opportunities and en- volvement in the church in an athletic environment. This past year there were more than 20 members in the club. According to one of the sponsors, Coach Melissa Thames, The overall em- phasis of the program is to learn to win with yourself and God and then on the scoreboard.
