1 llllllllllIIIlIlllllllllllllllilllillllIlllllllllllllllllllllfllllllllll Prinoipalk Message Every senior in the 1962 graduating class has had many and varied past achievements and experiences. You have taken these accomplishments with humility and pride, whether it be in academic honor rolls, class offices, student secretaries, dramatics, or athletics. Along with these past achievementsyou are now going to receive the ultimate, your high school diploma. As principal of your school I hope each and every one of you will ac- cept the responsibility of your high school education and use it as a stepping stone for futher experiences or a higher education. You owe a great deal of thanks to your parents and to your school district since they are responsible for your school facilities and all the finances involved. They made it possible for you to have abetter and broader education than was possible for themselves. To do this it took planning, work and money and faith in the younger generation. You are about to shoulder this responsibility for the next generation. This responsibility must be accepted by you if our nation is to grow and prosper. This will mean additions to curriculum, added facilities, more resources and equipment, and larger staffs. These are musts if our younger generation is to compete nationally and internationally. As an educator I feel confident that you will accept this responsibility and also find your place in your chosen work or profession. The preparation you have received is the best we could provide or the best you would accept, the rest is entirely up to you. Your ambition, ingenuity, sincerity and cooperation has played the important role in the past and it will continue for your future. Ronald Reynolds, Principal
