F d 5 N orewor 14 V R WE WORK BEHIND THE SCENES We, the Redskins Staff, began in 1961 to plan this annual and tried, with some success, to bring between its cover new ideas. Even with all the hard work, it was a lot of fun, taking pictures in silly and seriousposes, writing the class prophecy, will and school activities, trying to talk everyone we saw into buying an annual. Too, it was fun getting out of classes with some excuse or another to work on the Redskin. The Staff hopes that in years to come you will open the Redskin and recall all the pleasant memories that you have of this year. Annual Staff of 1962 ' ' ' ' W to Mr. Hal D. G I A H' , J Ill!IIIIIIllllllllllllflllllllllllUNIIIHIHIIHIIIIUIIIIHIIIIIIIIIIHIIII Superunendenfs Your superintendent enjoys this opportunity through your yearbook to extend a brief message to your class of 1962 and to the students of Camden-Frontier School. Graduation and the close of a student's high school days brings to each one a sense of anticipation and excitement, It is like the dawn of anew day that promises wondrous gifts and unbounded happiness. Each student faces this day with a sense of achievement. This achievement is the reward ofyears ofstriving to satisfactorily meet the requirements of the school and its teachers. Day after day the tools oflearning and thinking have been placed in your hand. You were able through the years to learn principles of worthy liv- ing and worthy citizenship. You will soon be on your own, and there are some important objectives for you to consider that will aid in your success and happiness. Set goals to strive for. You will better achieve these goals if you have an appropri- ate attitude to support these goals. Believe in these goals sincerely. Be determined and never wavering to attain them. Be happy as possible with the work you choose to do. Dare to attempt new things and search for new ways to arrive at conclusions. Continue to read and study for the rest of your life. Some may wish to further their education by attending college, business or trade schools. Have and continue to develop hobbies. Try to travel each year, but be sure to plan your travels wisely. Travel isa reward- ing educational pleasure that -will bring rich dividends to you. Always maintain faith in yourself, your fellowman, your country, and God. Biessage 1 llllllllllIIIlIlllllllllllllllilllillllIlllllllllllllllllllllfllllllllll Prinoipalk Message Every senior in the 1962 graduating class has had many and varied past achievements and experiences. You have taken these accomplishments with humility and pride, whether it be in academic honor rolls, class offices, student secretaries, dramatics, or athletics. Along with these past achievementsyou are now going to receive the ultimate, your high school diploma. As principal of your school I hope each and every one of you will ac- cept the responsibility of your high school education and use it as a stepping stone for futher experiences or a higher education. You owe a great deal of thanks to your parents and to your school district since they are responsible for your school facilities and all the finances involved. They made it possible for you to have abetter and broader education than was possible for themselves. To do this it took planning, work and money and faith in the younger generation. You are about to shoulder this responsibility for the next generation. This responsibility must be accepted by you if our nation is to grow and prosper. This will mean additions to curriculum, added facilities, more resources and equipment, and larger staffs. These are musts if our younger generation is to compete nationally and internationally. As an educator I feel confident that you will accept this responsibility and also find your place in your chosen work or profession. The preparation you have received is the best we could provide or the best you would accept, the rest is entirely up to you. Your ambition, ingenuity, sincerity and cooperation has played the important role in the past and it will continue for your future. MJ Maia Class Prophecy Wow! 1980 has sure come fast. A few weeks agol was shocked whenl was called to court. An unidentified person had named me in her will to receive her life's savings of S10 million. I decided to travel. First I looked up all my former classmates and here is a report as I have found them. IO ANN BOOTHMAN, VINCENT GRATZ, and KAREN GALLIPPO are the most famous singers on television. LYNETTE BROWN is the secretary at good old Camden -Frontier. MARCELLA HEADLEY has recently been chosen supervisor of the teachers at C-F because of her past acquaintances.
