Class Prophecy I was sitting at home quite bored one evening when the telephone rang. Much to my surprise it was one of my classmates, joe Mapes, who as Vice-President for a firm in jackson, Michigan, had come to the city to do some buying. I suggested we have dinner together while he was in the city. Naturally, we talked about the people who were our class- mates at school. It doesn't surprise me that Bruce Bunce is married and has two children. He and his family are living onla farm near Montgomery. It amused me to hear that he is leading the choir in the Camden Methodist Church. Mary Barrett is a teacher in the Camden-Frontier School System. It somewhat sur- prised me to hear that she is not married. It must be the Knight in Shining Armor got lost in the woods. Pat Copeland is married and besides managing a husband, three children, and a farm, she finds time to write a 'beauty aids column' for the Hillsdale Daily News, called Pat's Plan To Fix Your Pan. Rosemary Radabaugh has never married. She is a private secretary to Mr. jerry Salisbury, an important industrialist in Tecumseh, Michigan. In addition to strictly secretarial duties, she sees to it that he keeps his dental appointments and has time to spend with his five boys. Sad to say, his wife is undergoing treatment for a severe nervous disorder. I understand that Kathryn jagger has gone to sea. She doesn't get sea sick any more. Faye johnston runs a women's gymnasium in Detroit. She gets a lot of business from lla Mann, assistant to the prominent undertaker, Tom Frantom. Phyllis Hopkins has renounced marriage forever. The tabernacle, where she preaches, is jammed to the door each night. I might add that Irene Broughman is often reported being in the company of a wealthy widower who owns the controlling interest in a traveling donkey ball club. Nothing definite about this yet. Shirley jenkins is singing on an hour TV show directed by the famous woman of the stage, Anita Gostola. Shirley is featured nightly in a burlesque show called Betsy's Bloomer Girls.' Leota Moyer is now Superintendent of Nurses at Hillsdale Health Center. A recent patient at the Health Center was the former Helen Brow, who gave birth to her first child, a boy, 8 lbs. 14 oz. joe did not know Helen's last name. Wallace Shiffler is a well-known Frontier farmer. I-le also conducts classes in square and tap dancing at the Austin Grange Hall each Thursday night. Onalee Kirkingburg Robinson is in good health and living near Camden. She makes weekly trips to Faye's Gym for reducing exercises. She is now down to 250 pounds. Dan Pichea owns an ultramodern auto sales. He has the agency of Cadillac Motor Company at Santa Claus, Indiana. june McAllister is married and living in Texas. Marilyn Seely is a stenographer at General Motors Company in Lansing. Deloris Teachout is a judge in the Supreme Court in Washington, D. C. joe heard that Sandra Millard is running a home for aged spinsters in Wayne County. My evening turned out to be quite exciting and I will soon fly home to Hawaii where my pineapple plantation is located. Respectfully Submitted Richard Atkins v
