Mr. McFarland presents gift from the Cambridge teachers to Mr. Yogam. Mr. Yogam and Mr. Shelby stand near the refreshment table which was decorated with the flags of Malaysia and the United States. C.H.S. Welcomes o Visitor Cambridge High School experienced a distinct honor this year in having been chosen to receive a visiting educator from abroad. Mr, Kandiah G. Yogam, a school administrator from Malaysia, was our guest for a month, during which time he not only received information from us but contributed much to our knowledge of his country and his people. As Assistant Director of Teacher Training in the Ministry of Education in Malaysia, Mr. Yogam was particularly in- terested in curriculum, courses of study, and the teacher training program in which our high school cooperates with Muskingum College. Mr. Yogam was a delightful visitor and community groups, as well as high school classes and organizations, were extremely interested in his accounts of life in Malaysia and the educational program there. Mr. Yogam came to this country under the auspices of the International Teacher Development Program and as a result of our pleasant experiences with him, the faculty and students of Cambridge High School would welcome an op- portunity to participate in this program again. Students never tired of asking Mr. Yogam about the customs and habits of the people of his country, and all found him most gracious in giving his time to any group that wished to talk with him. Mr. Yogam speaks to Miss McGaughy's history class. SEVEN
